Two pistols formed in Aris's hands. "Jason! The face!" Aris aimed the pistols.

Aris held a large assault rifle. "Jason! I'll distract if!" he went behind the monstrosity and began firing at it.

The only spots that showed vulnerability were its face mask and the stab wound Aris had left in its chest.
Aris's gun disappeared, and he became engulfed in plasma-like energy like Light Metal did when Metallikid and Lightning Boy joined.

Aris suddenly slammed into Darkness's face in his plasma-y form. The resulting blow made the cracked mask on Darkness fall to the ground. A large, black and red, Smokey mass writhed violently where the mask was. Darkness roared.
Aris flew back a bit. "Spero! That's his weak spot!" Aris held his hand out towards her.
