Darkness walked over to the Time Kid. Aris offered no resistance as Darkness grabbed him by the throat and held him up. "You. You've been a nuisance. I would have ruined Earth long ago if not for you and your pathetic Heroes. You can die knowing you really infuriated me several times." Darkness thrust his rapier into Aris's chest.
"Rgh!" Aris's body tightened, and then loosened. His eyes closed, and his body went limp.
"Good boy." Darkness tossed Aris to the side. He then looked at Jason and Drank. "And now for you two."

"My, my. What are you doing here, Jason? You're barely a Time Keeper. You have no real feelings towards these people or the TKA," he gestured to the corpses behind him. "You failed my daughter. You've gotten your one lover killed. And you're certainly no Hero." he began laughing, like it was a joke. "So, why are you even here, throwing your life away?" he held his rapier up, pointing it at her.

"I will never be proud of that traitor. Still, I will give you one thing." he pressed his rapier against her chest. "You did annoy me every now and then." he thrust.
But the rapier simply slid off the the side. "What the?" he tried again, and the rapier bounced off with a CLANG like it was hitting metal. "That's new."

"Hm. No matter. I'll find a way to kill you. And if I don't you couldn't stop me anyway."
Aris shifted a bit, and slowly got on his hands and knees. Golden blood seeped out of his wound. "Rgh..."
Darkness turned around. "You're still alive? Well, I guess that's okay." he walked over to Aris. "I would like to enjoy killing you slowly, anyways." he kicked Aris, and Aris fell back to the ground.
"Ahh!" after lying still for a few seconds, he tried to get back up.
"Stay down!" Darkness kicked him again.
"Ah!" again, Aris tried to get up
"N-no... Aris..." Chardian said softly as he raised his head to watch.

Darkness deflected the bullet with his rapier. "You'll get your turn soon enough, Jason, just wait a moment." he kicked Aris aside again.
"Only... Only one thing to do." slowly, Chardian shifted his arm until his arm was pointed at Aris. "T-take my power... The last of my life force... Even when I die, what little I have left will aid you... I wish I could do more, but this... This is it... Bellana, my daughter..." And Chardian let out a sigh before he passed. From his hand, a faint line of energy connected his hand and Aris.
Aris seemed a little more lively, getting up faster each time.
The other Heroes of Time's corpses lay nearby.

Chardian, though now dead, was still giving energy to Aris. The other Heroes just lay there, though.
"Come on, then, Aris!" Darkness kicked him again. "Purge me!" Kick. "Fight me!" Kick. "Show me what power Light has over me!"

Chardian's body kept giving energy to Aris, but it wasn't enough for Aris to even stand up.
The other fallen Heroes lay nearby.
(Come on, dropping hints like no tomorrow!)
